According to reputed Spanish journalist Tot Costa, a new stumbling block has popped up in Barcelona’s way as they look to secure the services of Robert Lewandowski in the summer transfer window. Bayern Munich will demand €50 million for the Polish striker while asking the Blaugrana to pay the amount in one go. The veteran attacker has carved a lasting legacy at Bayern Munich while establishing himself as the greatest striker of his generation.

The 33-year-old enjoyed an excellent 2021/22 campaign, amassing 50 goals and seven assists in 46 appearances across all competitions. But Lewandowski wants to leave Bayern Munich for one last adventure in his professional career, with Barcelona his preferred destination in the summer transfer window. As Barcelona look to strengthen their options on the right flank, a familiar face has been offered to the club. Indeed, as reported by SPORT, Barcelona have been offered the opportunity to secure the signing of former La Masia trainee Sergio Canós, who plays for Premier League club Brentford, in the summer transfer window.

According to breaking news from Cataluyna Radio, Barcelona have decided to not raise their contract renewal terms for Ronald Araujo after offering him three times his current salary during the initial offer. The Uruguayan has reportedly turned down their initial offer, deeming the raise not substantial enough to continue. He wants a salary that reflects his performances, which according to him, are at the level of Pedri and Ansu Fati.

Barcelona recognises that there are a lot of suitors for Araujo, but are willing to run the risk by not revising their offer any further. They hope that he will eventually accept the offer since there is a possibility of him getting a substantial raise during future renewals.More Link
