Kulusevski had his big break at Juventus last season as he was a regular in thestarting XI under club legend Andrea Pirlo last season, but his playing time has suffered under new manager Maximiliano Allegri this season. Pirlo was sacked as the Juventus manager after one season and he was replaced by Allegri for his second managerial spell with the Old Lady.

Barcelona target Kulusevski has struggled for playing time under Allgeri this season, but he remains an important figure for his country. Kulusevski has made 15 appearances for the Old Lady in all competitions this season and just two have been from the start. He has two starts and 13 substitute appearances for Juventus since the start of the season.

Recent reports claimed that Juventus are open to the sale of Kulusevski in the January transfer window and the Swede won’t be short of suitors with Spanish La Liga club Barcelona keen to do a deal for him. Premier League heavyweights Arsenal have also been linked with the player.

Kulusevski is not a new player on the radar of Catalan giants Barcelona as he has been a target for the club in the past. The 21-year-old could add a new attacking dimension to a Barcelona side who has struggled for goals this season. Also, the Catalans have struggled with the fitness of attackers such as Ousmane Dembele, Sergio Aguero, Martin Braithwaite and Ansu Fati this season thus leaving Dutchman Memphis Depay as the only fit and regular source of goals since the start of the season.
